So, Ill be leaving for vacation 2 weeks from yesterday and I’m so excited. Getting out of New Jersey for 2 weeks is like heaven. Going to Busch Gardens and the Nick Hotel with my baby cousins and I can’t wait. I haven’t seem them in two years and I kinda miss em.. haha.

Also, just a little Linkin Park reminder: The new single ‘The Catalyst’ hits radio next Monday (August 2nd) and their album ‘A Thousand Suns’ is released on Sept. 14th. You can pre-order the album at LinkinPark.com and I’d recommend it. Why? Because it’s Linkin Park and everything they do rocks. ❤

If you have a twitter and are a huge @LinkinPark fan you’re probably aware of the fact that Mike Shinoda Clan came up with a fantastic idea. An idea on twitter that when all Linkin Park fans are online, or just a big chunk, we would all tweet #AThousandSuns to get it trending. It’s a great idea and I have to tell you, it was quite fun. I also noticed how the fans come together with something like that. We give back what Linkin Park gives – dedication. I’m PROUD, SO proud to be a part of it. To be able to see such dedication, and love and support from BOTH sides is amazing to me. Aside from, and you can laugh, from New Kids on the Block – *I*, personally, havent seen a band/group be so involved with their fans. It’s refreshing to know that THEY KNOW, we’re here.

I also loved the DM Mike sent to some fans, myself included. I don’t know how many but I know a group of people I was chatting with on twitter got a DM as well.

After a fun filled night on Twitter, making over 300 tweets AND being put into “jail” more than twice; Im beat.

Oh, and to the guys of Linkin Park – I don’t know if you will ever see this but if you do just know that I appreciate everything you guys have done and will do. It means a lot that you care about us fans so much. Ive been a fan from the beginning and I’ll be a fan for life – no matter what. Keep kickin ass! ❤

Edit: The writing in this post sucks butt. Oh well, I guess. Im exhausted from today. Night!

Movie night with the sister…

… was interesting and only because of the movies. We watched “Legion” then “Killer Inside me” while we drank some wine and chilled out. “Legion” was a decent movie. Nothing remarkable and nothing memorable but it had my attention. “Killer Inside Me”, on the other hand, is a different story. I don’t know if it is because of how many times I had to hit pause because my sister had to do something or if it was just slow but it was.. slow. Casey Affleck is amazing as well as Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba. I found myself confused at the end but again, I’m not sure if it was the pausing or the wine that made me confused. Either way it was.. alright. Nothing I’d actually go out and buy. It’s unfortunate too since I had high hopes because the trailer had me HOOKED. Overall, it was a decent night.

Now, as I sit here listening to “80s” on music choice, I fold laundry. Glorious end to a calm day/night.

Rewind time

So, I kind of rewound time, about 17 years, and went on the Despicable Me website and I created my own Minion! And did I have fun while doing it? You bet I did! So many eyes, lips and hair to chose from! It was awesome. This is the end result:

Fast forward 17 years and I’m a 27 year old STILL excited I created my own Minion. 😀

Despicable Me

So, I took my niece to see “Despicable Me” last Saturday (The 10th) and I gotta be honest, I think I may have enjoyed it more than her. It is such a great family movie and I recommend you see it if you have kids. Hilarious and Steve Carell is fantastic – as always.

I won these items from Music For Relief (@MusicForRelief) and I love them! Especially the shirt. It’s so soft, and so thin… 😀

Edit – I also won a shirt from Machine Shop Marketing ! Check it out. Ive wanted one of these shirts since 8-Bit Rebellion came out!
